Cactus Park Community Alliance

CPCA at the PreSchool Polar Palooza - Dec 7, 2018

On Friday December 7, the CPCA participated with the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department and Phoenix Police Department for the Preschool Polar Palooza at the Goulet Beuf Community Center.

The event and toy drive benefited the Cancer and Blood Disorder Floor at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

CPCA members Stan Bates, Nancy Russo, and John Curfman provided bags with crime prevention information and Child ID kits to parents while kids collected pencils and flashing safety buttons.

There were bounce houses, hills of snow and Santa arrived in a Police helicopter then took Photos with the kids.

Here we are ready for the crowds:

Below are Stan and Nancy educating the parents and providing goodies to the kids.

Cactus Park Precinct was right next to us and they provided goodies to parents and kids as well.  Here, Sgt. Nick demonstrates one of the giveaways for Mom and Daughter.

And PD had equipment on static display for inspection.  The parents and kids had fun activating the siren and talking on the loudspeakers in the cars:
